Por las mañanas recorro la vía férrea buscando restos de hilo curado. Este hilo es conocido por su peligrosidad, es hilo natural o sintético recubierto por un elemento abrasivo como cristal o vidrio. Es utilizado para elevar cometas o volantines. Grupos de jóvenes y niños utilizan la línea del tren como campo de batalla donde el juego consiste en elevar la cometa y lograr cortar el hilo de tu adversario para que pierda su volantín. Este hilo ha sido prohibido por su capacidad de mutilar y asesinar, sin embargo, sigue siendo comercializado y utilizado clandestinamente.
Me interesa la tensión entre juego y arma cortante, entre resto tirado y posibilidad artística. Mientras camino por la línea del tren voy fotografiando los hilos que generan dibujos de distinto tipo, unos más saturados que otros y a la vez me atrae la convergencia de distintos elementos como piedra, madera y metal.

In the mornings I walk the railroad track looking for traces of "hilo curado - cured thread". This thread is known to be dangerous, it is natural or synthetic thread coated with an abrasive element such as glass or crystal. It is used to lift kites.Groups of young people and children use the train line as a battlefield where the game consists of raising the kite and managing to cut the thread of their adversary so that he loses his kite. This thread has been banned because of its capacity to mutilate and kill, however, it is still marketed and used illegally.
I am interested in the tension between games and cutting weapons, between discarded debris and artistic possibilities. As I walk along the train line I photograph the threads that generate different types of drawings, some more saturated than others, and at the same time I am attracted by the convergence of different elements such as stone, wood and metal.
