This work analyzes documentary photography magazines of social movements during the Latin American revolution of the 60s and 70s. The artist scans and zooms in on each image, creating an abstract image of the protesting crowd upon reaching the ink injection point. The abstraction is further elevated by printing what was previously a unit into separate metal modules. The work is a criticism of the photographic image as a social document of historical truth.
